ValleyCrest Adds Three Courses

ValleyCrest Golf Course Maintenance recently reached agreements to provide golf course and resort grounds maintenance at three U.S. golf courses.

It added the Village Club of Sands Point in Sands Point, N.Y., and the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate in ChampionsGate, Fla. to its portfolio of 65 properties. It also extended its contract with The Pacific Palms Resort in the City of Industry, Calif. for an additional five years.

Pacific Palms features 36 holes of golf, as well a hotel, spa and conference center on 650 acres outside of Los Angeles. Its Industry Hills Golf Club was named the 2010 National Golf Course of the Year by the National Golf Course Owners Association and hosted the 2011 KIA LPGA Classic.

The Village Club of Sands Point is situated on more than 200 acres of the former Guggenheim estate and borders Hempstead Harbor off Long Island Sound. A private club, it features a Tom Doak-designed course, tennis and paddle tennis complex, beach club and member clubhouse.

The golf facilities at ChampionsGate include the “National” and “International” courses, both 18-hole courses designed by Greg Norman. ChampionsGate, a public course, also includes a lighted 9-hole executive course and is the world headquarters for the David Leadbetter Golf Academy.

The ValleyCrest Golf Maintenance is a division of ValleyCrest Properties, which provides golf course maintenance and agronomic services to more than 65 properties in 15 U.S. states.
