An increasing number of golf facilities are opting to outsource their golf course and grounds maintenance operations to third parties, as evidenced by at least seven new contracts signed by ValleyCrest Golf Course Maintenance in recent months.
The Calabasas, Calif.-based maintenance company inked three new deals in March and April, increasing the company’s portfolio of maintained golf properties to more than 60.
Earlier this month, ValleyCrest finalized five-year maintenance agreements with Greensburg Country Club in Greensburg, Pa., and Ocala Golf Club, owned by the City of Ocala, Fla. The Ocala Golf Club contract was ValleyCrest’s second with the city, the company having signed to maintain Ocala’s Pine Oaks Golf Course in November.
In March, ValleyCrest signed a five-year contract with the famed IMG Academies in Bradenton, Fla., to maintain IMG’s golf training complex, baseball and soccer fields.ValleyCrest also added Quail Valley Golf Course in Missouri City, Texas, The Village Center Community Development District and its four executive nine-hole courses in The Villages, Fla., and St. Ives Country Club in Johns Creek, Ga., to the company’s maintenance portfolio in November.
