Troon Golf, rapidly enlarging the portfolio of its Troon Golf Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) division, has signed to manage the venerable Princes Golf Club in Sandwich, England.
Princes Golf Club was the site of the Open Championship in 1932, and will host final Open qualifying prior to the 2011 British Open at nearby Royal St. Georges. Following its restoration after World War II, when it suffered considerable damage, the private Princes Club features three nine-hole links.
Troon’s EMEA division currently oversees operations at 39 courses in 14 different countries, including Dubai, Portugal, Spain and England.
