Golf Inc. Conference announces Critical Issues panels

The Golf Inc. Conference announced two new sessions — designed to address the industry’s most critical and timely topics.

“Private Clubs by the Numbers” will take an in-depth look at private club financials. It will open the books and share actual revenue and expense numbers of courses that were struggling, but have been improved in the last year.

“Beyond Tiger Woods” will look at the impact of Tiger on golf, and also address other current critical issues. This panel, moderated by Editor In Chief Jack Crittenden, will bring Golf Inc.’s online Critical Issues blog to life.

“This is an opportunity for attendees to share their thoughts on how to turn around the golf industry,” Crittenden said.

The session is designed to have strong attendee participation.

Pete Dye day at the Golf Inc. Conference

The Golf Inc. Conference will feature a day devoted to golf architect legend Pete Dye, who will receive the magazine’s Lifetime Achievement Award.

“Pete Dye has been a pivotal figure in the world of golf course design,” said Jack Crittenden, Editor In Chief of Golf Inc. magazine. “We are pleased to recognize him for his contributions and focus part of the conference on his legacy.”

Pete Dye day will be the first day of the conference, Monday, April 12th. It will include a golf outing at Oak March Golf Course, designed by Dye, a discussion on his legacy, led by his son Perry, and a cocktail reception. Perry Dye will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award on behalf of his father at the reception.

The Golf Inc. Conference will be held at Amelia Island Plantation, April 12th- 14th. The Early Bird rates expire Friday, March 19th. For more information or to register visit
