A $3 million dollar golf course upgrade is planned at the Twin Lakes Golf & RV Resort. Located just 15 minutes south of Penticton, British Columbia, the club is home to an 18-hole, 6,867-yard championship golf course.
Plans call for upgrades to the irrigation system and clubhouse as well as various improvements to the golf course itself.
Suny, Zokol Golf Design Ltd. has been chosen by club ownership to oversee the upgrades. Named after principals Dick Zokol and Armen Suny, the Canadian firm is currently involved with construction of the exclusive Sagebrush Golf & Country Club, a championship course located in the Nicola Valley near Merritt, B.C.
In addition to the club upgrades, Twin Lakes’ ownership is moving forward with plans to develop a 230-unit residential community overlooking the golf course. Sales at the yet-to-be-named project are expected to get underway at some point in 2009.
