A proposed renovation would turn the Kicking Horse Mountain Resort in Golden, British Columbia, from a seasonal ski attraction into a year-round vacation destination.
The proposed revision to the master plan calls for construction of an 18-hole, championship golf course and as well as additional residential units and commercial space.
Set in a popular resort area between Calgary and Kamploos, Kicking Horse opened as a ski resort in 2000 and currently features 1,500 bed units and 23,000 square feet of commercial space.
The revised plan would enable construction of an eventual 18,000 bed units.
