Troon, the world’s largest golf managmenet company, has been selected to manage Winchester Country Club in Meadow Vista, Calif., 40 minutes northeast of Sacramento.
Winchester Country Club is a residential community and club located in the Sierra Nevada foothills overlooking the Sacramento Valley. The award-winning golf course at Winchester Country Club is the final course co-designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and his son, Robert Trent Jones Jr. The course measures 7,144 yards from the back tees and plays to a par 72. The golf course is private, but does offer non-member play after 11 a.m.
“Since opening in 2000, Winchester, like many other clubs and communities, has seen its share of economic peaks and valleys,” said Jim McLaughlin, senior vice president, Troon Privé Operations. “Winchester is again on the rise and the entire Troon Privé team is excited to manage and further elevate the stature of this magnificent property.”
The recently renovated 35,000 square-foot clubhouse is the center of Winchester Country Club. The three-story clubhouse sits atop a hill overlooking the golf course. The first two levels include a mixed grille, pro shop, gentlemen and ladies locker rooms with saunas, a formal lobby and dining room, private dining room and full-service kitchen. The third level features a 3,200 square-foot fitness center, Pilates studio and Winchester Swim & Tennis Center.

Real Capital Solutions owns 124 home sites in Winchester, of the 409 total home sites that comprise Winchester Country Club. Custom home sites range from one to six acres and start at $200,000, while custom-built homes start at $1.1 million.
