KemperSports chosen to manage two golf courses for the Jaindl family

Jaindl Farms and Land Development has acquired two golf courses and hired KemperSports to manage the facilities. The courses are the Club at Twin Lakes in Allentown, Pa., and Moselem Springs Golf Club in Fleetwood, Pa. KemperSports will help with the renovation of the Twin Lakes course and clubhouse, while at Moselem Springs they will head up membership recruitment efforts and long-term capital planning.

The Jaindl family has long been a staple of the Lehigh Valley area of Pennsylvania and the Farms business is the largest producer of turkey in the U.S., delivering 840,000 turkeys last year alone. The family acquired the two courses in an effort to rejuvenate the golf tradition in Lehigh Valley and reinvest in the community.

“Both Twin Lakes and Moselem Springs represent great additions to our growing collection of Northeast courses,” said KemperSports CEO Steve Skinner. “We’re excited to be working closely with the Jaindl family, a group that shares our core values and brings an inherent understanding of what these two facilities mean to the community as local business owners and residents themselves.”

Twin Lakes has been open since 1954 and is considered one of the best public courses in the area. Built on the grounds of a former iron mine, the course features a 6,400-yard, par-71 layout, as well as a clubhouse, golf shop, grill, driving range, and reception facilities. Moselem Springs was designed by George Fazio and opened in 1964. It hosted the 1968 Women’s open, as well as many other championships, such as the 1996 and 2011 Pennsylvania Open Championship and the 2005 and 2016 U.S. Open Qualifiers.
