KemperSports adds Homestead G&CC

KempterSports announced today that they have been selected to manage Homestead Golf and Country in Lynden, Wash. Located just a few miles south of the U.S./Canadian border, The Homestead Golf and Country Club has remained the centerpiece of a 400-home residential community since opening in 1993.

The 18-hole championship golf course features wide landing areas and multiple tee options making it a top destination for novice and avid golfers alike. Set among the valley of the Cascade Mountains to the east, Homestead routes through the residential community and native berry farmland.

“KemperSports is the right partner to lead operations at Homestead Golf and Country Club based on their significant experience in operational efficiencies and name recognition of managing premier properties as well as their unmatched presence in the Pacific Northwest,” said owner Morris Chen.

In addition to golf, the club includes a large pro shop with changing rooms and a fireplace.

“Homestead Golf Club has a long standing reputation as a great value golf experience in the region,” said KemperSports CEO Steve Skinner. “We look forward to working with ownership to provide the best possible experiences for the community residents and golfers in the Pacific Northwest.”

Northbrook, Ill.-based KemperSports manages 123.5 18-hole equivalent courses throughout the United States including Chambers Bay. It is the sixth largest golf management company in the world.
