CMAA pivots to virtual event in March 2021

The 2021 World Conference and Club Business Expo is March 8-12

If you have been watching roundtrip airfare to and from Tampa, Fla., so that you could attend The Club Management Association of America (CMAA) 2021 World Conference and Club Business Expo in March, you can move onto something else.

CMAA recently announced that the event would be going all-virtual, as a safety precaution to COVID-19.

CMAA consulted with a number entities and organizations prior to making this decision including Visit Tampa Bay, the Tampa Convention Center and all the host hotels. Additionally, the association considered current state-mandated operating restrictions, safety and health regulations and asked for input on its recent member survey.

“Given the advance planning needed to ensure success for an event of this size, it is prudent to take action at this time,” the organization said. “Tampa is an amazing location and we are working now to secure dates for our World Conference in February 2025!”

“CMAA is committed to bringing the club industry together in 2021 for professional development, networking, idea sharing, and more. Harnessing the latest technology and an accessible, innovative, and engaging virtual platform, attendees will be able to join from anywhere with internet access,” said President and CEO Jeff Morgan, FASAE, CAE.

Registration for the 2021 World Conference and Business Expo will open in December. For more information visit CMAA’s conference page.
