GolfNow has inked another large operator to a big deal. Billy Casper Golf, the third-largest operator in the U.S., expanded its partnership witha new focus on installations of the innovative cloud-based GolfNow One (G1) golf-course management platform.
G1 is touted as the market’s most advanced all-in-one business management platform. Tee sheet, point-of-sale, social media, employee schedules, inventory, and other functions integral to efficient operations are managed via G1 by golf course staff.
“Our partnership centers on a tailored G1 to meet current and future needs of our clients, Billy Casper Golf and interactions with golfers,” said Peter Hill, chairman and CEO of Billy Casper Golf, which manages more than 150 golf courses, country clubs and resorts. “After testing it at several properties, the time is right for a broader rollout.”
“This is a milestone for G1 and one of the world’s leading management companies, and it illustrates our collective commitment to improving golfers’ experiences,” said Jeff Foster, senior vice president, GolfNow.
More than 3,000 golf courses use GolfNow’s various technologies to run their operations. This latest evolution of G1 has been in high demand since its launch earlier this year. Nearly 300 golf courses have chosen to use the G1 technology.
The cloud-based G1 technology installs regular updates, new features and other improvements automatically, with no time or action required from golf course staff.
“Time and resources are a constant challenge for golf course operators, therefore we designed the G1 platform as a cloud-based technology that minimizes the need for courses to maintain their systems locally,” said Steve McElwee, chief technology officer, GolfNow. “It’s a superior solution for individual courses and for multi-course operations to track a variety of management functions across entire portfolios.”
