Arcis Golf announces international expansion into Greece

Arcis Golf is expanding overseas for the first time. The fast-growing U.S. operator recently announced a partnership with Kilada Country Club, a luxury golf resort that is under construction in the Peloponnese region of southern Greece. Arcis will provide management and operating services while also being involved with all aspects of construction, club membership and marketing prior to opening.

Once the club is completed, Arcis will oversee ongoing marketing, staffing, budgeting, retail, event development, and member programming.

“This project enhances our breadth and depth as a company and taps into the vast and varied skills of our leadership team,” said Blake Walker, CEO of Arci Golf. “Consulting and management on a development of this magnitude uses our extensive club operations expertise and taps into our proficiency in designing world-class lifestyle offerings and in delivering extraordinary experiences.”

Arcis has continued to grow, with the acquisition of six former Mickelson properties in Arizona this summer as well as the Golf Club at Twin Creeks in the Dallas area.

The club, named the Kilada Country Club, Golf & Residences, will open in phases. The first will be in June of 2023 with the country club, golf course, dining area, pool, and clubhouse. The spa and beach club will open shortly thereafter. Future plans include a hotel and a wellness and training center. The country club will feature the first Jack Nicklaus Signature Course in the eastern Mediterranean, while the community around it will offer 90 villa lots ranging from 10,000 to 20,000 square feet.
