Another executive level hire for KemperSports

Tom Colceri has been hired for a key role to expand the firm’s operations in the west.

KemperSports has named Tom Colceri executive director of business development for the management company’s west region. In this role, Colceri will oversee the development of new management and lease agreements in the western half of the U.S., Mexico, and western Canada.

"Tom is a well-respected industry veteran with significant relationships and expertise built upon his service in leadership positions with the PGA and senior sales and marketing roles," sid Steve Skinner, CEO of KemperSports. "That experience will be invaluable to our clients and potential clients as they navigate the current golf industry's business environment. We are proud to welcome Tom to the team."

With more than 25 years of sales and marketing experience in the golf and hospitality industries, Colceri has a long history supporting prestigious developments such as Desert Mountain, Silverleaf and Quintero Golf Club.

Most recently, he was responsible for connectivity sales in the west for Club Car and was the vice president of business development for OB Sports.  

KemperSports has made a number of personnel moves recently. The company says it’s part of a strategic plan to fulfill its future plans and growth.  

“In regard to the past year, we have focused on growing the business and hired in a few new key positions,” said  Jim Stegall, COO. “Tom’s role was based on our goals to expand our growth strategies with focus on the west coast, Arizona and the Rockies region by having a sales executive in the west vs. Chicago. Other executive level hires in operations, marketing and finance have been fueled by the addition of 21 new clients over the past two years.”
