WestRidge Golf Club sold

WRidge Golf, LLC purchased WestRidge Golf Club in McKinney, Texas from Stonebridge Westerra, L.P., Fairway Advisors announced. Fairway Advisors would not disclose the sale price. The course reportedly sold for $1.9 million, according to a source.

The club, designed by Jeff Brauer, first opened in 2001 and hosts more than 44,000 annual rounds. The 18-hole course features a unique layout with six par 3’s, six par 4’s and six par 5’s. It is the only golf course in Texas with six par 5’s.

Jeff Davis, president of Fairway Advisors represented the seller in the transaction.

“WestRidge is one of North Texas’ most popular golf courses,” Davis said. “We only needed eight weeks of market exposure for this asset before selecting the buyer from a vast group of potential purchases, which speaks volumes about the location and quality of the offering.”

The new owners have plans to improve the property. Davis said one possible improvement is the addition of a new bar to generate additional after hours revenue.

Terms of the sale have not been disclosed.
