Tartan Golf & Management will manage Blackberry Patch Golf Club in Coldwater, Mich., which The State Bank and Trust Company acquired in December 2009.

Blackberry Patch opened in 1998 and includes an 18-hole championship golf course, a clubhouse with dining, meeting and banquet space located near Coldwater Lake. Blackberry Patch will be open to the public as well as the availability of annual memberships.

“TGM is the right partner to manage Blackberry Patch Golf Club because of its experience and successful track record of operating clubs in the northern Midwest region” said Jonathan Gathman, EVP of The State Bank and Trust Company.

Tartan Golf & Management is located in Dublin, Ohio, and operates public and private facilities throughout the Midwest.

“We are excited about the partnership with The State Bank and Trust Company and the opportunity to manage a club like Blackberry Patch,” said TGM President Steve Renaker. “We feel it is a good fit for all of us and look forward to showcasing Blackberry Patch’s qualities to the market.”
