Heritage Golf Group to manage Country Club of the South

Heritage Golf Group has finalized a deal to operate The Country Club of the South in Johns Creek, Ga. Heritage was selected by the club’s lender, Bank of North Georgia, following a competitive interview process.

 

The interim management contract is in line with Heritage’s decision earlier this year to supplement its typical ownership business model by pursuing golf course management and consulting business opportunities through its “Owner’s View” programs.

 

The Country Club of the South, designed by Jack Nicklaus and opened in 1987, is a private club. It hosted the Championship Tour Nationwide Championship from 1991 through 1994.
