Rating:
Hampton Golf has added Eagle Harbor in Jacksonville, Fla., and Hernando Oaks Golf & Country Club in Brooksville, Fla., to its management portfolio.
The 4,500-home Eagle Harbor residential community includes an 18-hole golf course designed by architect Clyde Johnston, a tennis center, 12-field soccer complex, biking and jogging trails and swimming pool with a water slide.
The additions give Jacksonville-based Hampton Golf, which was founded in 1998 by M.G. Orender and Ed Burr, 10 properties in its portfolio.
Eagle Harbor has received a number of awards, including recognition as the “Best Planned Community in North Florida,” from the Northeast Florida Planning and Zoning Council.
Hernando Oaks, which opened in 2003, was designed by Scott Pate. It features a full-service restaurant, along with tree-lined fairways and rolling greens, and the course is lined by majestic oaks laden with Spanish moss.
