Casper adds Philadelphia munis

Rapidly establishing itself as one of the county’s top muni management companies, Billy Casper Golf has added four city of Philadelphia facilities to its growing portfolio.
The company now operates publicly owned courses for Chicago; Cincinnati; Knoxville, Tenn.; Tulsa, Okla.; Cook County, Ill.; Westchester County, N.Y.; and Anne Arundel County, Md.
Facilities in Philadelphia now under Casper management include the 36-hole Cobb’s Creek Golf Club and two 18-hole facilities, FDR Golf Club and John F. Byrne Golf Course. Casper also will run the City Line Sports Center, which includes a range and miniature golf course.
The courses are part of Philadelphia’s Fairmount Park system.
