Hersham Village Golf Club in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey, England, has been sold for a reported £1.65 million to Claudel Venture Holdings Limited.
Sale of the 18-hole, 5,307-yard course by HLL Humberts Leisure came together quickly, according to representatives from both parties.
Claudel Venture Holdings Limited is expected to invest additional money to enhance the both the golf course and clubhouse facilities.
The woodland course, built on a former tree nursery site, includes a 22-bay lighted range. Greens fees are £18.50 on weekdays and £22 on weekends.
Rodney Hutton will remain as the club’s director of golf.
