India: Golf course communityunveiled in Hyderabad

Boulder Hills, a 531-acre, world-class golf and residential community in Hyderabad, was unveiled for the first time this summer.

The $1.4 billion community is built around the Boulder Hills Golf & Country Club, a 192-acre championship golf course designed by the Harradine Golf course architecture firm.

A variety of luxury villas surround the golf course at Boulder Hills, which was developed by EmaarMGF, a joint venture of Dubai-based Emaar Properties PJSC and MGF Development, India's leading real estate developer.

A series of 13-story residential towers are still under construction.

EmaarMGF's CEO William R. Rattazzi has lauded Boulder Hills as the first golf course community ever to be developed in south India.

EmaarMGF has plans to invest an additional $3 billion into more than 10 projects throughout the south India region in the next five to seven years, resulting in the development of 18 million square feet of retail space, 55 million square feet of residential development and 30,000 rooms in the hospitality sector.
