International golf star-turned-architect Nick Faldo has partnered with the Schmidt-Curley Design planning, architecture and construction firm to design an 18-hole course at British Columbia’s Revelstoke Mountain Resort.
Construction on the new course, situated at the base of Mount Mackenzie, is expected to get underway this spring, according to Brian Curley, co-founder of Schmidt-Curley Design.
The new course represents Schmidt-Curly Design’s first foray into Canada. The Scottsdale, Ariz.-based firm has already overseen international projects in a variety of locations including Mexico, China, Egypt and Thailand.
The Revelstoke project marks the eighth time that the firm has partnered with Faldo on a project.
