Australia: Bon Golf tabbed to run Musselroe Bay

Spencer Morgan Group has selected Melbourne-based operator Bon Golf to manage the planned golf course at its Musselroe Bay Resort development in the northeast region of Tasmania.

Construction on the 18-hole, championship course by Michael Clayton Golf Design is expected to begin in late 2008.

Sydney-based Tonkin Zulaikha Greer Architects has been appointed to serve as the overall project architect.

A $180 million development scheduled to open in late 2010, Musselroe Bay Resort will also feature a 100-suite hotel as well as 320 residential units located throughout the 4,700-acre site.
