Troon to manage Talking Rock

Troon Golf has been selected to manage Talking Rock, in Prescott, Ariz. The private club features an 18-hole, par 72 course designed by Jay Morrish, measuring 7,350 yards. Talking Rock joins the Troon Privé network of properties in 36 states and 27 countries. Members of a Troon Privé club have reciprocal access at all other participating golf courses in the network. 

Talking Rock has an 18-acre practice area, which includes three acres of tees and dual putting and short game practice areas. The club also has an Olympic-sized pool, fitness center, tennis courts, dog park, community garden and miles of hiking and biking paths.

“Talking Rock is an exceptional private facility with a strong reputation of offering its members a relaxing lifestyle with all the amenities found at exclusive private clubs,” said  Jim McLaughlin, senior vice president of Troon Privé Operations, in a news release. “We are honored to have been selected by them and are confident that our management practices will contribute positively to the experience of members and their guests.”

Talking Rock offers a variety of home sites and custom homes, including detached single-family homes.

Based in Scottsdale, Ariz., Troon is the world’s largest management company more than 250 golf courses in its portfolio.
