Troon to manage Club at Porto Cima

Troon will manage The Club at Porto Cima in Sunrise Beach, Missouri on the Lake of the Ozarks. The Club at Porto Cima is a private facility and features an 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature Design, a 17,000 square-foot clubhouse and a Yacht Club.

Peter Brown, Sr., and Susan Koplar Brown developed the property in 2000, after developing Seasons Ridge, an 18-hole Ken Kavenaugh desing in 1991. The Brown family has been selling homes along the lake

The Nicklaus Signature Course is the focal point of The Club at Porto Cima with seven holes that play beside or over the lake. The golf course opened for play in 2000 and is considered one of Missouri’s top courses by Golf Digest.

“The golf course, clubhouse and yacht club at The Club at Porto Cima are all gorgeous and the lakeside setting is spectacular,” said Ryan Walls, president, Troon Privé. “The Brown Family has done an outstanding job of building a beautiful club for members and their guests. We’re excited to work with The Club at Porto Cima.”

The club’s Mediterranean-style golf clubhouse features a golf shop, men’s and ladies locker rooms, meeting and banquet space, plus multiple food and beverage options in The Grille Room Restaurant, the 19th Hole Lounge, a private member dining room as well as outdoor dining overlooking the 18th hole and the Lake of the Ozarks.

The Yacht Club, located adjacent to the golf clubhouse, features a 200-slip marina, a marina clubhouse, member swimming pool, tennis courts and a poolside dining option. While the surrounding Club at Porto Cima community offers single-family residential lots, custom homes and custom townhome products.

“Our vision with The Club at Porto Cima has always been to provide an unparalleled member experience,” said Peter Brown Sr., owner, The Club at Porto Cima. “Through our new partnership with Troon, we will further elevate our level of service, member activities and member benefits. And, Troon will help introduce The Club at Porto Cima to a larger, more national audience.”
