Troon to develop, manage Rossington Hall

Troon has signed an agreement to help develop and manage the new golf development at Rossington Hall in Yorkshire, England. Set on 250 acres, Rossington Hall strives to become an elite golf destination and host-venue of the European Tour. The new golf development is part of an extensive restoration program the current owners began in 2011.

Located in the heart of Doncaster, South Yorkshire, Rossington Hall is already an established wedding, dining and events venue. The property will soon feature an 18-hole championship golf course with adjacent nine-hole academy course, each designed by Neil Coles. The estate will also feature an accompanying clubhouse and leisure facilities designed with the property’s Victorian heritage in mind.

"We are thrilled to add Rossington Hall's golf development to our collection of courses in the United Kingdom and look forward to delivering an exceptional golf experience," said Jon Schauder director of business development, Troon EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa). "This is an exciting era for Rossington Hall, the community and all of its partners. Located in an established golf and leisure market, the development has all the necessary stakeholders to make it a resounding success."

There are currently seven existing bedrooms that have been reonated and additional hotel rooms and dining facilities will be added. Rossington Hall joins a list of properties in the Troon EMEA regional portfolio that includes The Grove in England, Chateau d’Augerville in France, Abu Dhabi Golf Club in Abu Dhabi, Lofoten Links in Norway and The Els Club in Dubai. Headquartered in Scottsdale, Ariz., Troon is the world’s largest golf management company, with now more than 250 golf courses in its portfolio.
