Mosaic takes over Osprey Cove

Mosiac Clubs and Resorts has been managing Osprey Cove Golf Club in St. Mary's, Georgia since January 1. It is managing all golf amenities, including the clubhouse, pro shop and the course.

The clubhouse recently underwent a $2 million renovation.

“Our initial efforts will include hiring a new general manager, restructuring the membership offering, refreshing the dining experience, training the staff, and upgrading the club’s website and communications to the members,” said Mosiac’s president Steve Willy. “We will also enroll the members in Mosaic Explorer, our member benefits and reciprocity website and platform.”

Willy said new management was introduced to property owners during an annual homeowners association meeting in December. There are 1,100 home sites and homes at the gated residential community, ranging from $250,000 to $1 million. Willy said the private club will continue with minimum outside play.

The course was designed by Mark McCumber & Associates in 1990. Osprey Cove has earned numerous accolades and been listed among Golfweek’s “Top 5 in Georgia” and Golf & Travel’s “Top 100 Modern Courses.” Golf Digest rated the course five stars.
