KemperSports announces third new management contract in past month

KemperSports is expected to begin operating another one of Chicagoland’s top golf facilities this month.

The Northbrook, Illinois-based firm has been tapped to manage Cantigny Golf, a 36-hole complex in Wheaton, its 16th course in the state. the company has added 11.5 golf courses since July.

“The course has a great reputation among regional golfers,” said Steve Skinner, KemperSports’ CEO, “and we look forward to enhancing the guest experience and continuing the fantastic junior programs developed by Cantigny’s team.”

This is the third management contract that the company has announced since the start of the year. In late January, it was selected to manage Northern Bay Resort, in Arkdale, Wisc. That was KemperSports fourth Wisconsin property. The current owners acquired the course in 2010.

KemperSports also announced it would manage Geeley Country Club in Greeley, Colo. Greeley Country Club is one of the oldest private clubs in the state. The member-owned club is located 50 miles north of Denver and was built in 1920.
