KemperSports adds Club at Grandezza and Lincolnshire Fields CC

KemperSports has recently added two family-friendly clubs to its portfolio — The Club at Grandezza in Estero, Fla. and Lincolnshire Fields Country Club, in Champaign, Ill.

Grandezza is in one of the most sought after residential communities in the greater Southwest Florida market. The Club at Grandezza is the centerpiece and social hub of the community offering a full complement of recreation and social activities.

“KemperSports’ reputation led to our discovery of their management style and philosophies, which align with our belief system,” said Randy Whitmer, Vice President, Gravitas LLC. “Gravitas looks forward to our relationship with KemperSports and sharing the common goal of improving Grandezza.”

Built in 2001, The Club at Grandezza features an 18-hole course that traverses 125 acres of native vegetation, lakes and marshes that provide a sanctuary for wildlife. It also has a junior Olympic-sized swimming pool and spa, state-of-the-art fitness center, six clay tennis courts, multiple dining options and two bocce ball courts.

The clubhouse at The Club at Grandezza features a master ballroom with an adjacent terrace overlooking the pool and golf course, making it one of the most popular wedding and event destinations in the area.

“The Club at Grandezza is a great family club in one of the most prestigious neighborhoods in the region,” said KemperSports CEO Steve Skinner. “Working with new ownership, our goal will be to deliver an uncompromised member experience through new and creative club programming with genuine and friendly service from staff.”

KemperSports also added an Illinois country club to its portfolio. Lincolnshire Fields Country Club, in Champaign, Ill., has been known as one of the finest family-friendly clubs in the region for more than 40 years.

“Lincolnshire Fields Country Club prides itself on delivering an exceptional club experience for families in the Champaign-Urbana Community,” said Joy Martin, president. “We look forward to leaning on KemperSports’ club management best practices to ensure the best possible experience for our members and their guests.”

Built in 1976, Lincolnshire Fields is highlighted by a 6,900-yard, par-72 golf course, designed by E. Lawrence Packard, that routs through the Central Illinois wooded terrain. With tree-lined fairways and spacious landing areas and greens, the club hosts a robust schedule of programming, including men’s and ladies’ leagues and events, couples golf, junior golf and golf instruction for beginners and advanced players.

There’s also a recently renovated heated pool and aquatic center set alongside Stingray’s Pool Side Bar & Grill. The club also has three acrylic-surfaced tennis courts with private and group instruction.

“Lincolnshire Fields Country Club is a great family club in a great community,” said KemperSports CEO Steve Skinner. “We look forward to working with the members to enhance the golf, tennis, aquatic and social programming to ensure that Lincolnshire Fields remains the central hub of the communities’ social calendar.
