The GOLF Channel is joining the Golf Inc. Strategies Summit this September, with a keynote session that will delve into video as a revenue tool for both golf courses and private clubs.
“We’re living in a video world, for sure, and figuring out how to leverage what can be a high-powered, revenue-driving tool for your golf facility is an important consideration these days,” said Fran Solomita, vice president of digital content at GOLF Channel, who will present with Mike Hendrix, vice president of business services at GOLF Business Solutions, an affiliated company.
The keynote will take place during lunch on Sept. 25th, the last day of the Summit. It will follow a presentation on using photography to market your private club or golf course, presented by Laura Leszcynski, vice president of marketing at Strategic Club Solutions.
“The two sessions will be a powerful one-two punch in giving owners, operators and marketing professionals actionable data and proven ideas in using images to motivate and capture attention,” said Jack Crittenden, Editor In Chief of Golf Inc. “Both sessions will be packed with real-life examples that should leave attendees on a high note.”
The last day of the Summit is focused on marketing and will also include sessions on high tech marketing and private club branding, and a Marketing Meet-up, where attendees meet in peer-to-peer discussion tables to discuss their biggest concerns, challenges and opportunities.
The closing keynote will talk about how to Iincorporate video into the marketing mix, and how advances in smartphone technology and video recording equipment, as well as easy and affordable editing software, have lowered the barriers to entry.
This year’s Golf Inc. Summit is focused on the experience economy and how it is changing the way golf courses and private clubs think about their role and build loyal customers.
The Golf Inc. Summit, which will celebrate 31 years in operation, will be held Sept. 23-25that The Ritz Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee, Ga. It will feature 27 sessions, including several that will delve into the experience economy and what it means for golf courses and private clubs.
The Summit brings together 350 golf course owners, general managers, management company executives, and other industry leaders, including many of the top experts in both golf and private clubs. It features more than 80 speakers, 27 educational sessions and 9 networking events.
