Bobby Jones Links hires new VP of Development

Bobby Jones Links, an Atlanta-based club management company, has hired industry veteran Scott Ferrell to be its vice president of development.

In his new role, Ferrell will educate the marketplace on the management and marketing strengths of Bobby Jones Links. Ferrell says he will draw from his 30 years in the industry and an extensive network to help Bobby Jones Links grow in various markets.

“This is a really good fit for me,” Farrell said. “I have followed Bobby Jones Links’ activities and growth in recent years, and I’m very excited about their mission. A wonderful employee culture exists there, which translates directly to how their clients are served. Bobby Jones’ well-known character and integrity are at the core of how the company is run, which is very compelling.  I look forward to telling the Bobby Jones story and helping this great company grow.”

Prior to joining Bobby Jones Links, Ferrell spent 15 years as president of Gary Player Design, as well as 11 years in key marketing positions within the PGA TOUR’s TPC Network. Most recently, Ferrell served on the board of OnLink, a golf course management software platform that was sold to John Deere Golf in 2019.

“We are so fortunate to represent one of the greatest and enduring names in golf,” said Whitney Crouse, founding partner of Bobby Jones Links. “Having Scott join us after his success with another great brand and person, Gary Player, is another stroke of good timing and luck.”
