Bobby Jones Links adds 7th course in 2020

Bobby Jones Links has added a seventh course this year to its management portfolio. The Atlanta-based club management company was selected to manage the day-to-day operations of King’s Creek Golf Club, a public golf club just south of Nashville.

“Our role at King’s Creek is to help bring the vision that the new owners have to life, and to create an enhanced experience for players after the reopening in November,” said Steve Willy, co-founder of Bobby Jones Links.

King’s Creek Golf Club opened in 2006 and features an 18-hole championship layout designed by Arnold Palmer. The club also features golf lessons, a golf shop and practice facilities.

The club is currently closed for renovations. Twin brothers and Nashville developers, Nathan and Joel Lyons, purchased the 165-acre course in July and plan sweeping improvements. The brothers are looking to create an upscale recreation and entertainment venue for the whole family.

“We are thrilled to be working with Bobby Jones Links to bring King’s Creek to its fullest potential,” said Nathan Lyons. “We want to make this a course that is comfortable and enjoyable for every level of player, and with the Bobby Jones Links’ involvement we are confident that this will be one of the premier public golf courses in Middle Tennessee.”

In addition to management duties, Bobby Jones Links will assist in overseeing the upcoming renovations.

The first round of renovations is nearing completion. The club hopes to break ground on the next set in January.
