Billy Casper to manage Forest Hill Field Club

Billy Casper Golf will manage Forest Hill Field Club, a private, member-owned club in Bloomfield, N.J., located 15 minutes from Manhattan. BCG will oversee club operations, golf and round maintenance, membership marketing, staffing and training, member activities, food and beverage, merchandising, golf instruction, public relations, special events and financial management.

“We are deeply honored to manage Forest Hill Field Club,” Peter Hill said in a news release, chairman and CEO of Billy Casper Golf. “Our talented team will introduce new membership programs, special events and other initiatives to build on the history of Forest Hill as one of the Northeast’s premier country clubs.”

The club first opened in 1896. It features an 18-hole, 6,547-yard, par-71 course designed by A.W. Tillinghast, an Olympic-sized pool, sauna and fitness center. Tillinghast was recently inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame for his work at Forest Hill Field Club among others including Winged Foot Golf Club, Ridgewood Country Club and Bethpage State Park’s Black Course.
