Danish golf developer Poul Anker Lübker is planning his second high-end golf resort, in the city of Kolding.
The project will include a 27-hole golf facility, clubhouse, academy, wellness center, and restaurants, along with 150 year-round residences and 450 holiday homes.
Called AH Golf Resort, the project follows on the heels of the opening last year of the 36-hole Lübker Golf Resort in Nimtofte.
“We are convinced that the demand for high-quality golf resorts is increasing in Scandinavia and that the new project and Lübker Golf Resort will complement each other,” Lübker said.
Co-developer of the project is Arne Hougaard, a former wind turbine company owner. Financing for the development has not been decided. Lübker said he may offer public shares, which is how the Lübker Golf Resort was financed.
Work on the project is expected to begin next year, with a 2013 opening envisioned, he said.
