Affeldt also previously served as president and CEO of KSL’s former golf division, KSL Fairways; vice president and general manager of Doral Golf Resort and Spa in Miami and the combined PGA West and La Quinta Resort and Club in California; and was a founding partner of KSL Recreation.

Mr. DeLozier joined Global Golf Advisors after nine years as the Vice President – Golf of Pulte Homes, the largest developer of golf course communities in the United States. For Pulte Homes, he developed 27 new golf courses within 10 states. During his tenure at Pulte Homes the company became the largest developer of golf communities and of golf courses in the USA having invested more than $500 million in the development of golf assets.

One of his designs, Blue Heron Golf Course, was recognized in 2007 by Golf Range Magazine as one of America’s top 10 short courses. His work at Water’s Edge Country Club won two separate Renovation of The Year Awards in 2009. Also an award-winning author, Richard has penned articles for numerous national and international magazines. He is currently working on golf course projects in Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina as well as a new 27-hole development in Hunan Province, China. |

She has been a member of the ASGCA for 10 years and currently serves as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Environmental Institute for Golf (EIFG) where she is recognized as an advocate for sustainability and family-friendly designs.

Pena is the visionary guiding the development of The Golf Estates, a trail of several golf courses as the centerpieces of various resort developments lay out on several sites in the Dominican Republic. The Golf Estates development is going to be the first golf trail in the country. These developments offer a variety of terrains with challenging courses, and a myriad of real estate properties. Pena has a broad experience in finances and real estate in the Miami area and in the Dominican Republic.

Lead designer and project manager for his own course design firm for the past 23 years, Sanford has worked throughout the world in Asia, the Caribbean, the Middle East and the U.S. Closer to the company’s Jupiter, Fla., home base, his Juliette Falls Golf Club in Ocala, Fla., and Granite Links Golf Club in Quincy, Mass., each earned “Top Ten Best New Golf Course” designations by Golf Digest and Golf Magazine in the past two years. |

Paul Stringer

Stringer has over 26 years of experience in the golf business, as a golf professional, general manager, and currently the Executive Vice President of Nicklaus Design. He currently oversees the design business and offices of Nicklaus Design both domestically and internationally. His focus is to familiarize developers with Nicklaus Design and then assists clients with analyzing their business plans; membership plans, financial proformas, and discussing strategies in providing support of the golf course and real estate development. Contract negotiations, consultant recommendations and monitoring of contractual obligations are also part of Paul’s role at Nicklaus Design.

Bobby Weed

Weed Golf Course Design
Weed launched his career with an apprenticeship with Pete Dye in 1980, followed by 17 years of collaborative association. He was hired by the PGA Tour to oversee construction and design projects. He eventually became the Tour's in-house architect in 1987, designing many of the TPC venues that today host numerous PGA Tour events. |
