Monday, April 12, 8 a.m shotgun start
At par 72, the Pete Dyes Oak Marsh Golf Course’s 6,500- yard course has 14 holes with water hazards and numerous bulk headed greens. A variety of bunkers are placed throughout the course to add to the challenge and a natural approach has been maintained as well with the use of coquina shell cart paths, native plant life and preserved habitats for the local wildlife. Oak Marsh’s par-four eighth hole is a typical Dye design, challenging players to cross two tidal creeks before reaching the raised narrow green. The 171-yard sixteenth is an ideal layout for the novice and presents the more skilled golfer with a tantalizing risk-reward proposition, confronting each player’s skill level.
