Taking advantage of innovative ideas and the latest industry trends are crucial for success in today’s rapidly changing golf business.
And that’s just what industry professionals will have an opportunity to do Sept. 25-27 at the annual Golf Inc. Strategies Summit at The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee in Greensboro, Ga.
The three-day event is designed to give attendees a chance to learn about the latest innovations and trends and to come away with proven strategies for making them work. Participants will have access to 26 informative and interactive sessions presented in three tracks – private clubs, public courses and investors – along with daily keynote events and eight networking opportunities
The focus of this year’s Summit is “Innovative Ideas,” and there will be no shortage of those available. Educational session will offer examples of real-world success and hands-on strategies that participants can take back to their own properties.
“At the Summit you are able to pick the brains of experts from all over the country that have designed and implemented innovative ideas and everyone shares freely,” said Heidi Voss of Bauer Voss Consulting. She will lead a Summit panel discussion on “Creating a Membership Culture to Grow Your Club.”
But the dialogue doesn’t end when the Summit does.
“I continue to connect with the people that I have met and find myself reaching out to them when I have question or am thinking about trying something new at a club,” Voss said.
Kris Strauss, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Troon Golf, who will participate in panels on innovative ideas and brand-building, sees the Summit as an opportunity for participants to gain inspiration from new ideas.
“Hearing about successful innovations that are being implemented at other properties and adapting them to your world will help you get ahead and grow your business,” he said
It’s also a chance to hear from and to actually meet some of the industry’s most influential leaders. The keynote panel, “The Big Picture,” will feature executives from the industry’s top companies, including Dana Garmany, CEO of Troon Golf, Mark Burnett, president of ClubCorp, Steve Skinner, CEO of KemperSports, and Peter Hill, chairman and CEO of Billy Casper Golf.
